Accommodations Reservations
To reserve with Sails & Trails Vacations please complete our vacation
rental request form. We will confirm your booking via telephone, email or
fax. If the dates requested are not available we will offer alternative
dates.
Check In/Check Out
Check in is 3 p.m. Check out is 10 a.m. the day of departure.
Cottage, Suites and Guest House Rates
A $500.00 CDN per-week non-refundable payment is due upon booking.
Reservations will be confirmed only when deposit is received. The balance
plus the $250.00 CDN damage deposit is due 90 days prior to arrival.
Payment can be made by certified cheque, MasterCard or Visa.
Accommodation Damage Deposit
A damage deposit of
$250.00 is due along with any outstanding balance 90 days prior to
arrival. Your damage deposit will be returned to you, provided there is no
damage to the vacation rental beyond normal wear and tear, there is no
additional cleaning required, and the key has been returned.
Our cleaning crew
will arrive to clean and restock the unit for the next guest. Any
additional damage above normal wear and tear as well as missing items will
be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your credit card on
file. Any balance will be returned within 14 days of your departure.
Vacation Rental Cancellation Policy
Once you have
reserved a vacation rental with Sails & Trails Vacations you are
responsible for that time period. Should you wish to cancel your
reservation $250.00 from the initial security deposit is forfeited. Our
cancellation policy is as follows.
- Cancellations
received between 60 and 90 days prior to your arrival date - 50% of the
rental fee is forfeited.
- Cancellations received between 30 and 60 days prior to your arrival date-
75% of the rental fee is forfeited.
- Cancellations 30 days prior to the arrival date- 100% of the rental fee is
forfeited.
Cancellation of your
reservation with Sails & Trails Vacations must be made in writing by fax,
mail or email.
In all cases, the
damage deposit of $250.00 is refunded in full. Sails & Trails Vacations
will make every effort to re-rent the property, however the tourist season
is short in Nova Scotia and we cannot guarantee rebooking. If Sails and
Trails Vacations is able to rebook your timeslot your money will be
refunded. No-shows, late arrival and early departures after arrival are
all non-refundable.

to ensure your booking will not be sold or shared with a third party. Your
